CODE OF BEHAVIOUR Students are expected to demonstrate exemplary behaviour at all times when on Week Without Walls programs. Any student who seriously or repeatedly violates behaviour or discipline expectations, or demonstrates insubordination, endangers the life and safety of themselves or other members of the group, or breaks either the laws of the host country or Singapore may be dismissed or removed from the programme at the sole discretion of the faculty trip leaders.
Examples could include:
Possession or use of alcohol or tobacco substances
Violation of curfew
Insubordination
Disregard for safety of self or others
Use, possession or distribution of illegal drugs, or misuse of prescription drugs
Repeated disruption of the programme
In the event that the school determines it is necessary to dismiss a student from an overseas programme, ISS and its programme operators assume no financial responsibilities for the extra expense, and parents will be required to pay all costs associated with the repatriation to Singapore.
Please note that full participation in Week Without Walls is a program requirement for each grade level, and students must participate in the programme.
ISS and/or its programme operators reserve the right to review and modify participant trip lists in the interest of positive group dynamics and to avoid potentially difficult situations during the activities. All students in good standing (e.g.: academic, behavioural, emotional and psychological) are welcome to participate in ISS Week Without Walls programmes.
