WWW trips are great opportunities for students to connect with one another in new ways, to build relationships with members of the local communities, and to grow personally through the service projects, cultural activities and physical challenges. I have led previous WWW trips and enjoy supporting students through these new experiences. Vietnam is an amazing country with friendly people, tasty food, a unique cultural history and interesting landscapes; all of which we look forward to exploring. |

Week Without Walls provides an invaluable opportunity for students to make connections not only amongst themselves as a team but also towards another community outside Singapore. I look forward to sharing new experiences with our students and watching them grow and contribute meaningfully through various service initiatives in each place that we visit. While we will only visit Vietnam for a week, I am sure that the memories will last much longer! |

Week Without Walls is a great opportunity for students to gain real-world travel experiences outside of their "comfort zone" inside the classroom. By making real-world connections to classroom subjects the circle of learning is completed in the most challenging and engaging way possible-travel! I have been to Vietnam several times and have been awed by the warmth of the people, its fascinating history and the stunning natural beauty. Students on this trip will undoubtedly gain new knowledge and insight into one of the most dynamic countries in Southeast Asia. |

As a new teacher at ISS, I look forward to using the Hoi An WWW trip as an opportunity to get to know my Grade 9 students and High School colleagues better. I am particularly keen to try the lantern and mat making activities, as well as take part in the Scavenger Hunt. At the end of the trip, I hope my Grade 9 Design students will make some meaningful connections with Unit 2 in the curriculum. |
